INDIA - A KEY SAFMARINE MARKET
Regional shipping line specialist Safmarine - which has been operating in India since the late 1980s and which recently won a 'Shipping Line of the Year' award for its services in the India-Africa trade - says the pending integration of Safmarine's internal support and management functions into those of its sister company, Maersk Line, will not impact its sales and customer services operations in the India Subcontinent Region.
India is currently one of Safmarine's top import and export countries globally and Safmarine remains committed to this market. Not only are all Safmarine's existing services continuing, but Safmarine has plans in place for further expansion in the ISC market.
